Restaurant Booking Policy

 

For all bookings at 6.30pm or earlier, your table will be available to you for a maximum of 2 hours. If you wish to have the table for the entire evening, then please book your table at 7.00pm or later.

For reservations of 10 people and above we require a £5.00 per person deposit to be paid within 7 days after you made the provisional booking, in order to secure your date. Cicchetti will not be available for group bookings unless the group pre-order all their meals in advance

For parties more than 12, you will be required to order from a set menu. A pre-order from this menu will be required at least 1 week before your booking. The whole party must order from the same menu if there is a selection available. If your numbers reduce more than 48hrs prior to the booking and you inform the restaurant, the full deposit will still be applied to your bill, if your numbers reduce less than 48 hours prior to your booking, no refund will be given (unless we are able to resell your table).

For bookings more than 17 – you will be required to book a ‘side’ of the restaurant and pay a £10 per person deposit within 7 days after you made the provisional booking, in order to secure your date, and you will be required to order from a 3 course set menu. The smaller side holds between 18 and 23 (but you will be required to pay for a minimum of 18 people). The larger side hold between 24 and 30 (but you will be required to pay for a minimum of 24).  A pre-order and full payment for the food will be required at least 1 week before your booking and 48hrs notice must be given for any individual guest cancellation and refund.

 

If you wish to book the whole restaurant, you must book for a minimum of 46 people and pay a £10 per person deposit within 7 days after you made the provisional booking, in order to secure your date, and you will be required to order from a 3 course set menu. If you wish to book the whole restaurant but for less than 46 people, a booking fee will apply. A pre-order and full payment for the food will be required at least 1 week before your booking with 48hrs noticed required for any reduction in numbers and refund (up to the minimum requirements).

Cake Policy

We do operate a no cake policy at the restaurant and encourage customers not to bring in their own cakes into the restaurant, however we are able to make a cake for you at a charge, or provide a candle in a dessert on a decorated ‘Happy Birthday’ plate.

Billing

At the end of your meal, you will be presented with one bill to cover the whole of your party. If each person wishes to pay individually, we request that this is organised by the party leader. If guests do wish to pay individually for their meals, we recommend that you pay for your meal bill in advance – we will not be able to take individual payments on the day as this is often too time consuming.

Arrival

We request that your party arrive prompt at the time of your booking (or just before) as we arrange all other bookings around any large group booking, and lateness will only put extra pressure on the kitchen and may result in slow service, which we want to avoid.
